To Where the Water Flows

A composition created as the first of what I hope to be an illustration series/future webcomic, To Where the Water Flows.
Synopsis: In a world of massive sinkhole cities, great and terrible beasts, and everlasting deserts, legend tells of an ancient device deep within the labyrinth of ancient tunnels deep below the ground that holds the key to returning water to the world. In the bottom of a sinkhole located on one of the few substantial water sources left is the city of Gobee, a settlement trapped between two warring factions, the Principality of De'Argo and the Vesbar Conglomerate. For centuries explorers known as 'Seekers' have searched the innumerable tunnels for the fabled device. None have succeeded. But when war comes to Gobee, Sunny Buttons, a plucky, dimwitted courier finds herself forced to take on the mighty task donning the title of 'Seeker' to find the fabled device to save her town. With her trusted slime at her side, her journey begins with a sudden knock on the door.
